QUALITY LAB TEST |
| |
|
| |
CASS TEST
For testing the glasses resistance to chemical and physical. |
 |
| |
METHOD
The corrosion agent induced by atmospheric and bodily agents (eg. sweat), is tested by submitting the lens
to an acid environment. |
 |
| |
TEST CONDITIONS
Acetic Acid
Sodium Chloride
Dehydrated Copper Chloride |
| |
| |
DROP BALL TEST (DBL) - TEST ON THE LENSES CAPACITY TO WITHSTAND VIOLENT SHOCKS.
For testing the glasses resistance to chemical and physical. |
 |
| |
METHOD
Impact of the free-falling steel ball on the lens. |
 |
| |
TEST CONDITIONS
Steel ball diameter 16mm falling at height 1.3mm and hit the lens surface. We even tried on a bigger steel
ball at a higher height. |
| |
|
| |
ABRASION AND SCRATCH TEST
For testing the lenses capacity to withstand mechanical stresses. |
 |
| |
METHOD
Abrasive rubbers and graphite pencil leads of increasing hardness are applied. Then the state of wear and tear
on the lens is analyzed. |
